Beijing June 18 (IANS) At least 20 people on a China Eastern Airlines flight were injured after it hit turbulence on Sunday morning before arriving at Kunming city.
Flight MU744 departing from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris was about to land at the Kunming Changshui International Airport when it was hit by turbulence the airlines said. The flight landed around 9 a.m. an hour later than scheduled reports Xinhua news agency.
The injured suffered from bone fractures scalp lacerations soft tissue injuries and other light wounds due to baggage falling according to the airlines. None of the injured were in critical condition.
