Panaji Oct 29 (IANS) An engine of the Amravati Express caught fire near a Goa railway station on Sunday delaying the train for nearly two hours a railway spokesperson said. No one was injured in the accident.
The incident occurred near Cansaulim railway station shortly after the Howrah-bound 18048 Amravati left Vasco da Gama railway station in south Goa. A fire engine was summoned to douse the fire the South Western Railway spokesperson said.
"There was a delay of two hours during which the engine which caught fire was replaced by another " the spokesperson added.
