Kolkata June 18 (IANS) Nine persons of a gang allegedly involved in ATM robberies were arrested in West Bengal s Hoogly district on Sunday. Arms and ammunitions were seized from them police said.
We have arrested nine persons of a gang that was involved in multiple cases of ATM robbery. It seems the miscreants had gathered near Rishra s Pachloki area (in Hoogly) for looting another ATM a police officer told IANS.
Pipe guns cartridges four choppers chloroform and acid for melting metal have been recovered from them he said.
