New Delhi April 13 (IANS) The BJP s Ranoj Pegu on Thursday won the by-poll in Dehmaji constituency of Assam defeating Congress Babul Sonowal by a margin of over 9 000 votes the Election Commission said.
Pegu secured 75 217 votes and Sonowal 65 932 of the total 150 029 votes polled in the Sunday by-poll.
