The latest series in Netflix release coming is of Brendan Dassey a teen, is going viral already before its release due to the on going controversies over his Pardon. Yesterday reported via the Associated Press (Hollywood reporter), Brendan Dassey will stay behind bars while state attorneys appeal a decision overturning his conviction, according to a ruling by a panel of federal appellate judges. Television crews and reporters were staking out the prison in Portage where Dassey is being held, waiting for him to walk out at any minute, when the ruling came down of a sudden.
A 27 year old Dassey is on sentance to life in prison since 2007 in the death of photographer Teresa Halbach. In August 2016 a federal judge overturned Dassey’s conviction, ruling investigators coerced him into confessing. This decision was forwarded by Wisconsin’s Department of Justice to the 7th Circuit with the result the department of justice filed an emergency motion with the 7th Circuit hours later seeking to block the release yesterday.The ruling represents a win for Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel, who had fought the release. –WTN
