New Delhi Nov 22 (IANS) The Union Cabinet on Wednesday accorded permission to the Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) to negotiate wage revision with their employees Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said.
Announcing the decision after a meeting of the cabinet he said: "There are over 320 CPSEs with over 9.35 lakh unionised and non-unionised employees. The Cabinet has approved to give power to the CPSEs to negotiate the wage revision with their employees."
The Cabinet meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
