New Delhi Aug 23 (IANS) The Delhi Police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a casino and arrested 30 people in a raid at a farmhouse here.
The illegal casino was being run by a man named Radhe Shyam at a farmhouse owned by Major Suresh Yadav (retd) on Dera Mandi Road in Fatehpur Beri.
"It is a sprawling 13 acre farmhouse and is for shooting of television serials and films " Deputy Commissioner of Police Ishwar Singh told IANS.
"The 30 persons who have been arrested include 14 players and 5 female casino attendants. The rest of them were bar attendants. Among the players few were businessmen " he said.
Singh said plastic coins that were being used as tokens in the casino were worth over Rs 3 crore.
Thirteen luxury vehicles have also been seized.
