Beijing Oct 31 (IANS) China s top legislature is considering to amend the country s Criminal Law to include penalties for disrespect to national anthem a media report said on Tuesday.
A draft amendment to this effect was submitted for the lawmakers deliberation at the bi-monthly session of the National People s Congress (NPC) Standing Committee which started on Monday.
According to the draft violators may face up to three years of imprisonment Xinhua news agency reported.
