Plants Sheesham sapling in Smart Garden 
 
 
Bhopal 13 March 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted a Sheesham sapling in Smart Garden today. Chief Minister Chouhan is planting a sapling every day since Narmada Jayanti as per his resolve. In this commitment to plantation, he is encouraging the planting of such saplings that easily adopt to the local climate. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the soul is soothed by planting trees. He called upon the people of the state to plant more and more trees for protection of environment.

So far Chief Minister Chouhan has planted saplings of various species including Sal, mango, Parijat, Saptaparni, Neem, Sita Ashok, Gul Bakavali, Sheesham, Karanja, Putrajivak, Vatavriksha, Peepal, Kadam, Bamboo, Harsingar, Gular, vine, Chandan, Mahaneem, Khirni etc – Window to News
