Committee formed under chairmanship of ACS Public Relations
Bhopal: A committee has been constituted by the state government under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary, Public Relations M. Gopal Reddy to probe into the activities of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism. Bhupinder Gupta, Officer on Special Duty, at Chief Minister's Office and Sandeep Dikshit of Vindhyachal Dairy Gam Gora, Bhopal have been made members. The committee will examine various points and present the report within 15 days.
The committee will probe into the compliance of recruitment/reservation in the appointments made in year 2003 in the University and determine the accountability if irregularities are found. The committee will examine the changes made in favour of a specific ideology in university courses and academic system / content and will probe for any bias done to benefit any individual / group in the research projects given by the University.
The committee will also examine the complaints of violations of UGC norms by the University administration and complaints of unnecessary expenditure incurred to benefit some persons/groups after the year 2003. The committee will also examine the complaints of opening of unnecessary learning centers to benefit some persons at different places of the state.-Window To News
