Srinagar Nov 27 (IANS) A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper was injured in a petrol bomb attack here on Monday police said.
Police said the attack on CRPF personnel took place in the city s Safa Kadal.
"A CRPF jawan sustained minor injuries when miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at CRPF personnel deployed on law and order duty in Safa Kadal area of Srinagar. The trooper was discharged from the hospital after first aid " a police officer said.
Authorities had imposed restrictions in Safa Kadal on Monday to foil protests called by separatist leaders.
