New Delhi Jan 9 (IANS) Commuters travelling on Delhi Metro s Yellow Line (Huda City Centre - Samaypur Badli) were made to wait for their trains a bit longer on Tuesday when the service faced a technical glitch in the evening peak hour. The fault was later rectified.
Due to the overhead equipment (OHE) fault the trains were run for about one hour on a single line (going towards Gurugram) which caused this delay.
"Train services on Line-2 from Vishwavidyalaya to Samaypur Badli were run on down line due to OHE issue near Jahangirpuri on Up (towards Samaypur Badli) line since 7.30 pm onwards " the the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said in a statement.
"Service from Vishwavidyalay to HUDA City Centre were running normal on both lines during this period. OHE issue rectificed at 8:37 p.m. and now normal services are restored on affected section of line-2 " it added.
