French President Macron rebukes a teenager for addressing him with nick name.

20 Jun 2018
June 20 (WTN)- French President Macron was on a visit to Mont Valerien fort to commemorate General Charles De Gaulle's call for popular resistance during World War Two.

He was addressed casually by a boy while he was passing through the crowd. The teenager addressed the French president by the nickname "Manu."

Macron scolded him for not showing proper respect, saying he should be referred to as "Mr. President or Sir."

Some people have admired Macron's firm stance, while others feel he was too harsh.
