Bhopal: Revenue Minister Umashankar Gupta said that the birth of a girl child is no more considered a burden in a poor family. State government has made 27 lakh girls as ladli laxmi and got Rs 31 thousand crore deposited in their bank accounts.

Revenue Minister Gupta was today addressing a beneficiary meet at Rama Nagar in Banganga, Bhopal. He distributed certificates to families of beneficiaries of Ladli Lakshmi Yojana. He redressed people’s grievances connected with basic amenities of 18 departments on the spot.

Revenue Minister Gupta said that the state government has always taken care of the interests of farmers. No outstanding child belonging to a poor family will be deprived from acquiring education from any prestigious institution. He said that state government will pay the fees for higher education under Medhavi Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana of each student who scored 70 percent marks in Class XII. He told that the benefit of this scheme will be given to children belonging to families whose annual income is less than Rs 8 lakhs.-Window To News
