MAY 03(WTN) - The Allahabad High Court has issued an important verdict regarding the provision of e-way bills implemented last month. The court has said that any officer cannot seize the goods in case of non e-way hard copy of the bill. After the decision of a court that came for the first time with the e-bill, it is believed that the dealer who also has a digital copy of e-bill that hard copy will also be valid too.

During the recent hearing of the case, the Allahabad High Court said that the goods of somebody can not be confiscated only because they do not have the hard copy of the e-bill generated. After the court's verdict, it is expected that if anyone does not have a hard copy of e-bill, then it will be able to carry their luggage easily by keeping it in mobile and laptop.

The e-bill is a document, it needs to get those people who are supplying goods and goods worth more than Rs. 50 thousand through goods transporter. Although it is necessary to transport the goods and goods of this price from one state to another, it will also be mandatory for in-state transport in some states. However, the provision of in state transport of goods more than Rs. 50 thousand rupees will be implemented gradually.
