Shimla March 5 (IANS) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will present the Budget for 2018-19 on Friday an official said on Monday.
The month-long Budget Session of the Himachal Pradesh legislative assembly will begin on Tuesday and will have 17 sittings the official told IANS.
This will be Thakur s maiden budget.
The session which will end on April 5 would have two private members days on March 8 and March 30.
There would be a recess of nine days from March 17 to enable the House committees scrutinise the Budget.
In the 68-member House the ruling BJP has 44 members while the Congress has 21. There are two Independent member and the CPI-M has one.
