New Delhi March 15 (IANS) A Chetak helicopter of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crash-landed and toppled in a field near Allahabad after developing a technical snag. Both pilots are safe the IAF said.
The IAF helicopter was on a routine training sortie and had taken off from Bamrauli air base around 12 kilometer from Allahabad city.
The chopper developed a technical snag and toppled as pilots tried to land on an uneven field the IAF said.
Both pilots are safe and a Court of Inquiry has been ordered an IAF spokesperson said.
