Mumbai Oct 13 (IANS) Majority shareholders of Idea Cellular have approved the merger of its mobile business with Vodafone India a regulatory filing said here on Friday.
The Aditya Birla Group company got the majority shareholders nod for the merger approval in a meeting on October 12.
The shareholders meeting was convened following an order by the National Company Law Tribunal Bench at Ahmedabad.
