New Delhi April 27 (IANS) InterGlobe Aviation which runs the budget passenger carrier IndiGo on Friday announced the appointment of Rahul Bhatia as its interim Chief Executive Officer.
As per a company statement the development comes after Aditya Ghosh resigned from the post of President of IndiGo effective July 31 2018 and as a Director of the company with effect from April 26 2018.
"Rahul will continue as a Director of the company. The company also announced the appointment of Gregory Taylor as senior advisor to the company reporting directly to Rahul " InterGlobe Aviation said in a statement.
According to the statement in the coming months its Board will consider Taylor s appointment as President and CEO of the company subject to receiving the necessary regulatory approvals and paperwork.
