WTN- International Film Awards (IIFA) were held in Bangkok on Sunday night. Hindi Medium written by Zeenat Lakhani and directed by Saket Chaudhary. The film stars Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar in the lead roles, got Best Director and Best Actor in a Leading Role. Sridevi won Best Actress (posthumously) for her role in 2017 film MOM, in which she played the role of a mother seeking revenge for her daughter's rape. Nawazuddin Siddiqui also got Best Supporting Actor for Mom.
Tumhari Sulu comedy-drama film directed by Suresh Triveni and Vidya Balan as the titular character, an ambitious housewife who becomes a radio jockey for a late-night relationship advice show got best picture award.
