New Delhi May 5 (IANS) Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will leave on a three-day official visit to Japan on Saturday to participate in the annual meeting of Board of Governors of Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the spring meeting of the Institute of International Finance (IIF).
Jaitley will attend the meeting of Board of Governors of ADB in Yokohama and the Investors Round Table Session organised by the Confederation of Indian Industries (Cii) and Kotak Bank in Tokyo.
Shaktikanta Das Secretary Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) is in Japan to attend the ADB meet that commenced from May 4.
On May 7 Jaitley will take part in the ADB Governors Plenary and thereafter will meet Taro Aso Japan s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.
Later he will participate in the Governors luncheon and will also meet Takehiko Nakao the ADB President.
On May 8 Jaitley will be at the Investors Round Table Session organised by Cii and Kotak Bank in Tokyo.
He will also participate in the Spring Meeting of the Institute of International Finance (IIF) where he will deliver the keynote address.
On May 8 Jaitley will meet Tomomi Inada the Japan s Defence Minister before departing for India.
