New Delhi July 31 (IANS) The national capital witnessed a cloudy Tuesday morning with the Met office predicting light rains for the region.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius a notch above the season s average.
"The sky will remain mostly cloudy with chances of light rains in the National Capital Region " an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum temperature was expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius. The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 71 per cent.
Monday s maximum temperature settled at 34.5 degrees Celsius the season s average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 23 degrees Celsius four notches below the season s average.
