Majority of millennials feel businesses lack ethics
"Today less than half of millennials believe businesses behave ethically (48 per cent versus 65 percent in 2017) and that business leaders are committed to helping improve society (47 per cent versus 62 per cent) " the Deloitte Millennial Survey 2018 said.
In the last two years millennials felt increasingly more positive about business motivation and ethics but the sentiment has reversed in 2018 the report said.
Further there was no movement from last year in overall economic optimism among millenials as per the report.
"Across all 36 markets 45 per cent expect the economic situations in their countries to improve over the next year a figure almost double of those predicting a deterioration (24 per cent)."
The survey was conducted among 10 455 millennials across 36 countries. Millennials included in the study were born between January 1983 and December 1994 it said.
