Mumbai Oct 27 (IANS) Key Indian equity market indices opened in the green on Friday following global cues.
The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) was trading 57.42 points or 0.17 per cent higher during the early session.
The wider 51-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was trading 0.10 points higher at 10 343.90 points.
The BSE Sensex which opened at 33 228.32 points was trading at 33 204.55 points (at 9.29 a.m.) in the early session higher 57.42 points or 0.17 per cent from Thursday s close at 33 147.13 points.
The Sensex touched a high of 33 270.62 points and a low of 33 169.48 points in the trade so far.
