Los Angeles Nov 24 (IANS) Actress Uma Thurman has broken her silence on the issue of sexual assault allegations concerning Harvey Weinstein hinting that she herself was a victim of the Hollywood producer.
Thurman who worked with Weinstein in films like "Pulp Fiction" and the "Kill Bill" series slammed him in a Thanksgiving post over Instagram on Thursday reports theguardian.com.
Alongside a photograph of herself as The Bride from "Kill Bill" Thurman wrote "Happy Thanksgiving. I am grateful today to be alive for all those I love and for all those who have the courage to stand up for others."
She later referred to a video interview from October in which she said she was too angry to discuss the Weinstein scandal.
"I said I was angry recently and I have a few reasons #metoo in case you couldn t tell by the look on my face. I feel it s important to take your time be fair be exact so... Happy Thanksgiving everyone! (Except you Harvey and all your wicked conspirators -- I m glad it s going slowly -- you don t deserve a bullet) -- stay tuned Uma Thurman " she added.
