Dehradun June 21 (IANS) AYUSH Minister Shripad Yesso Naik said on Thursday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi s efforts have led to yoga being "practised throughout the world".
Naik who spoke before Modi at the fourth International Yoga Day event here said the Ministry of Ayurveda Yoga and Naturopathy Unani Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH) was working with other ministries and corporates to "take yoga forward" and "incorporate it into their day to day activities".
"We are celebrating Yoga Day due to Modi s constant efforts. As soon as he came into power he spread our ancient heritage of yoga throughout the world " Naik said.
