Farmers will be given fair price for produce' 
 
 
Bhopal 06 June 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the purchase of moong from farmers in the state would start from June 15. Farmer brothers will be able to register themselves from June 8. He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, summer moong would be purchased on support price with the help of Government of India.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the interest of the Annadata is paramount for me. Farmers should not be worried about the falling prices of moong. A fair price for the produce of the farmer will be given. He said that it has also been decided in the interest of farmers that the last date for procurement of gram has been extended to June 15.

Support price declared

The target and support price for the purchase of moong has been fixed by the Government of India for Madhya Pradesh. The support price of moong has been fixed at Rs 7196 per quintal – Window to News
