London June 23 (IANS) Gilles Muller of Luxembourg defeated American Sam Querrey 6-4 7-6 in the quarterfinals of the Queen s club tennis championships here on Friday.
Muller adjusted the head-to-head record against Querrey World No.28 to 1-2 in the first match between both on grass which lasted for one hour and 21 minutes reports Efe.
Muller who ousted fifth seed French player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the last round is set to play against the winner of Croatian Marin Cilic and American Donald Young.
The 34-year-old Muller hopes to reach his fourth final this campaign after clinching Sydney and Den Bosch last week.
