03 Aug 2017

Panaji Aug 3 (IANS) The Goa government does not plan to allow Ola other cab aggregators to operate in the state Transport Minister Sudin Dhavalikar said on Thursday.

Dhavalikar said this in a written reply in the assembly to a question from Nationalist Congress Party member Churchill Alemao.

Several ruling BJP leaders including Nilesh Cabral have been demanding introduction of Ola and Uber like taxi services in the state accusing a section of taxi drivers in the state of ruining Goa s reputation as a tourism destination by overcharging and unruly behaviour.
