New Delhi April 2 (IANS) The total enrolment in Ph.D. courses are on the rise in colleges and universities across India increasing by about 22 per cent in three years Parliament was told on Monday.
The number of Ph.Ds enrolled in year 2016-17 was 1 23 712 while in 2015-16 and 2014-15 the number of Ph.Ds was 1 09 552 and 1 00 792 Minister of State for Human Resource Development Satyapal Singh told the Lok Sabha in a written reply.
