Bhubaneswar Dec 22 (IANS) Like the previous year the Odisha government on Friday sought suggestions from different sections of society for preparation of the annual budget 2018-19.
The state government sought suggestions from common people civil society organisations different advocacy groups and other stakeholders to make use of this unique opportunity to participate in the budget-making process of the state government.
The Finance Department has initiated the process of obtaining inputs for preparation of annual Budget 2018-19 through a separate web portal budget.odisha.gov.in through e-mail and SMS said an official.
The portal displays all budget related documents he added.
The department invited suggestions in a structured format (displayed on the webpage) to be used as an input in the process of preparation of the annual.
Suggestions can be sent via email address odisha.budget@gov.in as well as through Whatsapp Telegram and via SMS to the Mobile number (+91)9438161111.
This facility will be available from December 23 to January 10 next year the official said.
