Bhubaneswar Nov 11 (IANS) Odisha Minister Usha Devi s vanity case containing Rs 25 000 in cash a mobile phone ID card and other valuables was allegedly stolen by miscreants on board an express train said police on Saturday.
The Skill Development and Technical Education Minister s handbag was allegedly stolen while she was travelling in the Puri-Durg Intercity Express on Friday.
The Minister was on her way to Kantabanjhi from Bhubaneswar.
Usha Devi has filed a complaint with Titlagarh Government Railway Police (GRP). A probe is on Mohan Nayak the inspector-in-charge said.
Police suspect the theft might have occurred between Rairakhol and Angul railway stations.
