Rome Aug 6 (IANS) An oil tanker exploded on the outskirts of Italy s Bologna city on Monday authorities said.

"Teams are on site intervention underway " the emergency services tweeted.

Some people were injured as a violent blaze erupted followed by several explosions Xinhua news agency reported.
