Bhopal: The Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel said that efforts should be made for immediate settlement of the case pending at the High Court, concerning formation of management committee of Madhya Pradesh Red Cross Society. Services of senior advocate should be taken so that the case could be redressed judiciously and promptly. She suggested for the installation of equipments in the Red Cross Hospital on hire by holding discussions with the big and renowned companies. The Governor was addressing the review meeting of Madhya Pradesh Red Cross Society at Rajbhavan today.

Smt. Patel mentioned that old age homes should be run by the Red Cross society in maximum numbers. Private institutions should also be contacted in this connection. Solar power plants should be installed in the Red Cross hospital and its office to reduce the power bill. She stressed for conducting eye and health camps in schools, colleges especially in aaganbadi schools and centers.

Principal Secretary to the Governor Dr. M. Mohan Rao informed that services of the doctors in the Red Cross hospital are being taken on remuneration basis. Services of several doctors have been terminated due to the irregularities. He further informed that the Red Cross was established with an objective to provide medical treatment to the poor besides other people at minimum expenses. The hospital management is working with the same spirit.
