Certificate of Critical Care Nursing is a 6 month programme which targets nursing staff who wish to pursue critical care nursing as their career

WTN- Indian healthcare is evolving at unprecedented rate as digital technology and modern appliances are now widely used in almost all hospitals.  Patient expectations have risen multifold in last decade and this is driving the delivery of best healthcare services as never before. Though the technology as an enabler has proven its worth in treatments, it alone can’t be enough, as highly specialised and trained nursing staff is required.
 
As of now , Healthcare industry is well short of trained and specialised nurses and other related  manpower. This gap is more pronounced in critical areas which need high degree of patient care.
 
Bhopal based People’s College of Medical Sciences & Research Centre (PCMS&RC) under People's University has designed a comprehensive and innovative programme for holistic skill development among Nursing staff with respect to critical care.

With 6 month Certificate of Critical Care Nursing, it aims to  develop requisite nursing skills for nursing staff who wish to pursue profession in ICU / NICU / PICU. This tailor made critical care programme includes theory classes as well as practical sessions along with exit exam. Candidates who will pass the exams will be provided a nationally recognised certificate from People’s University. In wake of Covid pandemic, People’s University has initiated this innovative approach to contribute in developing skilled manpower in healthcare setup.
