Mumbai Aug 1 (IANS) State-owned Power Grid Corporation of India on Tuesday announced a 13.91 per cent increase in its standalone net profit for the first quarter ended June 30 at Rs 2 052.41 crore compared with Rs 1 801.77 crore in the same period of 2016-17.
Standalone total income during the said quarter increased 18.06 per cent to Rs 7 389.83 crore from Rs 6 259.30 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal the company said in BSE filing.
The company also announced that Pradeep Kumar has ceased to be a Director in Power Grid Corporation of India.
