Lyon May 24 (IANS) Portuguese qualifier Gastao Elias defeated Argentina s Juan Martin del Potro 7-6 6-4 in the round of 16 at the Open Auvergne-Rhone-Alps Park here on Wednesday.
Elias broke the Argentinian s serve three times and fired six aces in a match lasting one hour and 52 minutes reports Efe.
