New Delhi Feb 1 (IANS) Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday slammed the Modi government over the Union Budget saying it is still promising a fair price to farmers after being in office for nearly four years and had made "fancy" announcements with no matching funds.
Gandhi said that "thankfully" the BJP-led government is left with only one year of its term.
"Four years gone; still promising farmers a fair price. Four years gone; fancy schemes with no matching budgets. Four years gone; no jobs for our youth. Thankfully only one more year to go " Gandhi said in a tweet.
