Rescue of the rivers not possible without public cooperation tells CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan
On the occasion of welcoming Spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, to the state of Madhya Pradesh, while joining hands in the mission "River Rally", which is an initiative to rescue rivers. The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday at Bhopal said that the government alone cannot save rivers if the public does not join participate in the mission for revitalizing the rivers bodies.
The event which was part of "Rally For River", by spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, where the spread of the message is conducted covering sixteen states of India.
The concern concentrated over the reducing water level of the river Ganga and river Narmada, Mr Chief Minister, assured the spiritual leader that MP Government and the public in together would share and participated in the rescue mission to save River Narmada.
More and more trees will be planted along the river banks starting first from the bank of river Narmada.The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan stress and concluded with a pledge to lend their support to the mission "River Rally." in partnership with the citizen support. -Window To News
