New Delhi July 24 (IANS) The government has awarded contracts worth over Rs 1.09 lakh crore for two- and four-laning of national highways in Madhya Pradesh Rajasthan Chhattisgarh Maharashtra Odisha and Jharkhand since 2014-15 Parliament was told on Monday.
The contracts are for 297 projects amounting to Rs 1 09 043 crore Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Mansukh Lal Mandaviya told the Rajya Sabha in a written reply.
He added that altogether the projects would spread across a total length of 13 433 kilometres of national highways in the six states.
