S. Korea names venues for September football friendlies
The KFA said the team will take on world No.23 Costa Rica at Goyang Stadium in Goyang north of Seoul on September 7 and play against world No.9 Chile in Busan 450 kilometres southeast of the capital on September 11.
Both matches will kick off at 8 p.m local time reports Yonhap news agency.
The two friendlies will be world No.57 South Korea s first two friendly matches after the 2018 FIFA World Cup where they suffered a group stage exit against Germany Sweden and Mexico.
South Korea are looking to play the September friendlies under a new coach after Shin Tae-yong s contract expired in July. Shin is listed as one of the candidates.
