Los Angeles Aug 17 (IANS) "Lost in Transaltion" actress Scarlett Johansson has been named as the world s highest paid female actress by Forbes.
The 33-year-old actress made $ 40.5 million in pre-tax earnings from June 1 2017 to June 1 2018 quadrupling her income from the previous year reports theguardian.com.
She has beaten actress Angelina Jolie who ranked second with $28 million and actress Jennifer Aniston who came in third with $19.5 million.
The actress total is however well below last year s male equivalent Mark Wahlberg who earned $68 million in the 2017 list.
Johansson has played Black Widow in this year s Marvel movie "Avengers: Infinity War" and will be next seen in the 2019 instalment from Walt Disney Co s Marvel Studios.
