New Delhi June 29 (IANS) A cooking gas cylinder exploded in a house here on Thursday inflicting burn injuries on five inmates and a neighbour who rushed to their rescue police said.
The incident occurred in west Delhi s Aman Vihar area at around 9.30 p.m. when a woman Prem Lata was cooking food.
The victims were identified as Prem Lata 40 her son Lakshya 11 and daughters Riya 15 and Pammi 21 brother-in-law Suraj 32 and a neighbour Vijay.
Suraj and Vijay have received 70 per cent burn injuries and have been referred to Safdarjung Hospital a police officer said.
