Kabul June 8 (IANS) Six Taliban militants were killed and eight others injured in clashes in Afghanistan s Kunduz province an army official said on Thursday.
The army launched a raid on Wednesday night in Imam Sahib that began the clashes the official told Xinhua news agency.
Clean-up and cordon operations are continuing the official said.
Over 2 000 families fled their homes.
