Bengaluru, June 25 (IANS) A South Western Railway (SWR) zone Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) succumbed to Covid-19, an official said on Thursday."One TTE was not feeling well while he was at his native place and visited a doctor once. After two days, he died," said a railway zone official.Later, on taking a swab from the deceased TTE and testing it, the result came as Covid positive."It is suspected that he contracted the virus when he travelled to Miraj," said the official.Miraj is a town located in southern Maharashtra.Incidentally, the 57-year-old railway employee did not have any co-morbidities. --IANS sth/kr
