Instructions of regular monitoring of girl students hostel by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan

AUG 10 (WT) - The state government has come into action after the incident of rape has been reported from a deaf and dumb girl in the government granted girls hostel in Bhopal. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has instructed to regularly monitor the hostels of girl students. Now these hostels will be inspected every month.

According to information received from the media, after the incident of rape of a deaf and dumb girl, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan held an important meeting with Chief Secretary B.P.Singh and DGP Rishi Kumar Shukla.

In this meeting, the Chief Minister has instructed to regularly monitor the hostels of girl students. The Chief Minister has directed that all hostels should properly be monitored. After this, the police and administration team will talk directly to the girl students and they will be talked about their problems.

Not only that, the government has also decided to make special rules for the orphanage and girl hostels. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has clarified that the orphanage and hostels will no longer be left in the trust of the institutions.
