Ghaziabad Aug 31 (IANS) Police on Thursday detained two men on charges of printing fake VVIP passes for Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath s visit to Ghaziabad.
They were identified as Rahul Goel and Dheeraj Sharma.
The police took them into custody from near a cafe in Gandhinagar. A printer was recovered from Goel s possession a police officer said.
Ajay Sharma the Ghaziabad city President of the BJP filed a FIR alleging Goel and Sharma had printed fake VVIP passes for Adityanath s public meeting here on Thursday.
"We are investigating the case " said Inspector Vinod Pandey.
