Bhopal: The Chief Electoral Officer V.L. Kanta Rao has informed that since the model code of conduct has come into force, 35 thousand 830 non -bailable warrants have been issued from October 6 to November 10, 2018 to ensure law and order in the state. Moreover, 3 thousand 524 illegal firearms have been confiscated and 2 lakh 58 thousand 661 firearms have been deposited in the police stations during this period.

Under the property defacement, total 17 lakh 19 thousand 650 cases have been registered and action has been taken against 16 lakh 66 thousand 291 cases. Under the Government property defacement, total 13 lakh 246 cases have been registered and action has been taken in 12 lakh 66 thousand 791 cases. Similarly, 4 lakh 19 thousand 404 cases of private property defacement have been registered and action has been taken against 3 lakh 99 thousand 500 cases.

Furthermore, 11 thousand 342 cases of misuse of vehicles have been registered during this period.-Window To News
