Upset Daddy Rishi Kapoor Blames Anurag Basu as he calls him “Irresponsible Director” over the failure of "Jagga Jasso" at Box Office!
Jagga Jasoos has tripped at Box Office, also failed to impress critic circuit, to rule the hearts of fans, and fallen short of the collection on Box office too - and all this has made the daddy - of the actor in the lead role "Ranbir Kapoor". Rishi Kapoor very upset, upset to the extent that in an interview to a leading tabloid he called Anurag Basu who is the director of the movie “an Irresponsible Director”...
While Ranbir has kept mum over the failure of the movie on Box office, Daddy Rishi is burning in rage.
Jagga Jasso was supposed to go released some three years back however amid the headline breaking breakup between the hero and then girlfriend Katrina Kaif, become the cause of delay in the completion of the project, as both the actors confessed they don’t want to face each other and need time to let it go.
However, Daddy Kapoor is not ready to buy this reason as he tells the tabloid: “That’s not true. Honestly, Neetu and I saw the film on Thursday a day a head of the release. Till Wednesday Anurag Basu was still mixing the film. Can you imagine that? Pritam the composer probably delivered the music only a week before. What can you say?Basu doesn't take an opinion from anybody. Today filmmakers are doing this with every body. They don’t show their film before release to take an opinion and treat it as to be they are making a nuclear bomb. I didn’t hate or love the film, I only felt it needed to be abridged by 20 minutes. But who is going to give that opinion to them?I totally agree with Ekta Kapoor when she threw him out from her film. He has problems with Rakesh Roshan while working on Kites in the year 2010. He’s such an irresponsible director that he doesn’t complete the film. It was supposed to release three times in the past two years, but it kept getting delayed”.
