Badrinath Ki Dulhania is an upcoming romantic comedy film, directed by Shashank Khaitan, and produced by Karan Johar under the Dharma Productions banner which stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt and is slated to release on10th of March this year. For the publicity of the movie Sanjay Dutta and Madhuri were approached to join the cast and crew as they were the original artist for the dance the publicity turned out to be little of negative publicity.
The issue is Saroj Khan the original choreographer for the song was never remember nor invited. The issue comes to high light when few days back, Saroj Khan in an interview said, “Maybe, they think that Masterji (referring to her) has become old and Madhuri Dixit hasn’t. That’s why they have called her, She also added, “Varun is a good dancer and I know he will be able to do it (the steps) well, but I don’t know if Alia will be able to match up to Madhuri. In any case, it will be a feather in Alia’s cap.”
Though later realing that varun has skipped the details later come up with an apology. He said "I told Bosco (Tamma Tamma Again choreographer) but he was a little nervous. I agree that the song is hers as much as of Sanjay sir and Madhuri mam.
